We came in for a wedding from out of state and stayed at a local hotel called Cliffbreakers. We asked for a place to go for breakfast on Sunday and were told to go around the corner to the Swedish Pancake House. We went and found the restaurant to be very busy.
The menu was bigger than we thought and we ordered Swedish pancakes and skillets. While we waited our coffee cups were filled time and time again. Our food arrived quickly for being busy. The food was excellent with big portions. The staff was very friendly and even gave us directions to local shopping areas. We had a great time. A definite family restaurant as the whole family was working, including dad, mom and their son. You could tell it was afamily place as they seemed to know their customers by name and gave many of them hugs. We recommend it to anyone who is staying in Rockford for a wedding or get together.
