On Saturday, I, with six family members, had lunch at Perkos off Bradshaw. It was a dreadful experience. The food (sandwiches/soup, and steak and eggs) was terrible, the presentation on the plate was disastrous (the food was crowded and simply slopped on the plate), and it took three tries before two of us got what we ordered. We all agreed we would never return to Perkos. The only thing to recommend it was a young waitress who was trying her best to make everything right. Oh, yes, the ice cream and pie were good.

Coffee is good only if it's fresh. I always ask for fresh, if coffee sits too long, it tastes "cooked". My family usually have dinner there and have been pleased. However, Friday, 2-22-08, the food left a lot to be desired! I had the clam chowder in bread and it was very runny, no flavor and not full to the top. I had ordered this the week prior and it was delicious! This time , however, it was almost lousy. Must be a different cook. Service is above average.

I love this restaurant. They have a lot of different meals that you can choose from. The eggs are great and pancakes. Give it a try and you will be glad you did.
