I've tried several times to enjoy myself at Columbia Cafe, but each time I have been disappointed. The service is so-so and the food really leaves much to be desired. I base this review on several experiences and I don't get the hype. The atmosphere is nice enough but it almost seems like a state school attempting to join the Ivy League. If they really understood their place and didn't try so hard to be a "classy joint", the expectations wouldn't be so high and the review so low.

Great Coffee! Roasted in house.

Fancy, funky place, Interesting art on walls, unusual decor. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Free Wi-Fi. Very off-beat place, I have seen movie stars and crews there who are filming nearby, soccer moms, businessmen, musicians and artists.

Usual breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes, sometimes grits or other hot cereals. Yogurt, fresh fruits, other choices vary.
