The breakfast at Paul's was adequate, but not remarkable. The biscuits and grave were good, but nothing to write home about. The staff was more interested in talking about one of the "Real Housewives of OC" that had been in recently than they were in attending to the clientele.

I like that they support the local little leagues and decorate with the team photos and banners, but the overall feel was tired and uninspired.

I have eaten at Paul's many times and find the food quality and quantity consistently good, and the service as well. Not sure why the other negative responses are posted, unless it's by a competitor. Today there was only one waitress @ 7:30am. but she was super nice, competent and had a smile on her face. Hat's off Denise! Really - if you want a great breakfast and incredible, huge sweet roll, plus patio dining option, I'd vote for Paul's.

I was so delighted to find a website such as this as I must agree with the other bad reviews I found here, Paul's Pantry is the worse service I have ever encountered. One might get better service in the mess hall of a maximum security prison. I went away wondering if they were holding a contest for ugly manners and rudeness among the staff -- and unfortunately, the service was equally bad every time I ate there. Needless to say, I will never eat there again.

Agree with the other comment: absolute worst service I have ever had. I don't knaow how they stay in business as everyone on my street and all my friends in MV avoid Paul's because of their rude treatment of customers. Go to Cocco's which is just down the street by the freeway.

While the food at Paul's Pantry is very good, it is consistently the worst service I have ever experienced. After 6 or 7 repeat visits of forgiveness, I will never eat at Paul's again. The poor service begins with the ownership as the owner is often too busy filling his face with his cooking or reading the newspaper to ring up my bill. When he does finally acknowledge me, he makes it well known that I am a bother and an interuption to him. The word thank you is not in the staffs' vocabulary. I have had a waitress literally throw my plate of food on the table in front of me with homefries flying onto my lap. The rudeness starts with ownership and drips to the staff much like greese in a kitchen.

Located nexted door to "Chili's". Excellent service and great home-cooked style breakfast. A diamond in the ruff.
