Ehhh. Oh, how the once mighty have fallen. To violate my first rule of food is barely acceptable: don't bring your attitude to my table. Violating the second rule is unpardonable: Don't question me when I say the food is burnt.

Probably not on my list for a return.

Amazing Creole breakfast. Eggs were outstanding, sausage was melt in your mouth. My friend's grits with applesauce were perfection. Bloody Mary was great too. Waitstaff was best I've experienced in Seattle.

Avoided this place initially due to the crowds, but when I did go, I had a great time; funky food; great atmosphere!

There seems to be a line outside this place every Saturday and Sunday from opening till past noon. This place is very popular (if you're in a hurry or hate crowds, this is not for you!) It is owned by Chow Restaurants (who also owns Coastal Kitchen). They switch Countries every so often so there is always something "funky" on the menu and they decorate the restaurant accordingly. It is a very fun atmosphere and they have the best food. I recommend their cinnamon french toast, coffee cake (it is a side) and Bloody Mary, but I haven't had a breakfast at The 5 Spot that wasn't exceptional and I go as often as possible!!! This place is to-die-for.
