The only bright spot in Baton Rouge for good food when the city shuts down after 2 a.m.

Louie's cafe is great--ANYTIME!!! My quintessential favorite is the Seafood Louie! You just can't go wrong with this omlette and the hashbrowns are to die for.

A must when visiting. Try "The Mitchell" omelet. cajun hashbrowns, sausage, mushrooms and cheese. hmmmm hmmmmm. And as for those onions on your sandwich, this is cajun country, expect at least one of the holy trinity (onion, celery and bell pepper) in your food.

The Seafood Louie is the quintessential Louisiana breakfast. An Omlette large enough for two normal people, filled with shrimp, crawfish, crabmeat, zuchinni, peppers, and onions, topped with a cream sauce. Neat cafe style atmosphere. Went there regularly during law school exams. Can't beat it for breakfast! Waffles and other stuff are good too, but its hard to pass up the Seafood Louie!
