This is a real funky Redondo Beach landmark... Check out the menu at www.originaleatatjoes.com ... They serve fabulous American comfort food, at reasonable prices... Always friendly attentive service... One of the few places to open at 5:30am (6am on Sunday)... closed on Saturday (dunno why... maybe Sabbath???)

eat a joes has been a my family spot for years. john wayne and spanish omelete will leave you full and extremely happy. best place in the country.

Joe's has been open since 1969. On weekends, finding a place to sit can be a challenge. There is a small dining room, and then a larger room with communal benches. You just squeeze in where you can.

The food is pretty cheap, and there is a HUGE variety. Breakfast is served all day ad the service is friendly. I suggest the John Wayne Special or the Mad Dog special - last night's featured dinner served in an omelette and topped with chilli. It'll cure any hangover.
