Great service, excellent food and great coffee. It took a little time to get our food... we asked our waitress about our meals she said "all of our food is cooked to order, nothing is pre-cooked!!"
When we got our food it was amazing, it was steaming hot with butter melting down the pancakes and the blueberry topping is the ultimate in pancake heaven!!
Five Golden Eggs on this one for sure!!!!

The menu is comprehensive with dozens of specials plastered on the walls, many named after locals, or design your own. The portions are awesome, but the place is quite small, diner size. We couldn't find fault with any of the food, and the pancakes are to die for. We tried bacon, sausage, pancakes, home fries, eggs and toast and all were excellent.
The weather that day (last week of October 2006) was heavy wind and the first of the winter snow. We arrived just before 12pm, were seated immediately, and just after we had placed our order for food and tea, the power went out. Not a problem for our hosts, and candles were placed on the tables, and our breakfasts served piping hot. A romantic end to a vacation trip that we shall never forget. (A couple of items were not available that were electricity-dependent but nothing we had ordered). We are certainly looking forward to our next trip to the area and will definitely drop in.
