This place was awful! I got an omlette with spinach and the spinach was hard and still partially frozen, I couldn't even finish it. I will never go back.

Stopped by when I was on a business call in Vancouver. Just a great little non-chain, neighborhood restaurant with lots of "comfort food" type of items - nothing fancy but very satisfying. The setting has some decent character to it and the waitstaff was very friendly and helpful.

Don't know what the previous reviewer was talking about. Been going to the 'dust for many years. Since they reopened, it's been packed everytime I've been there. Been in 3 times since the new ownership took over. Food is much improved, better quality ingredients, and there are a lot more waitstaff on hand than there used to be. The service level is much improved. The overall atmosphere reminds me of the heyday of the 'dust back when it opened in 2001.

This place won't make it. Food and service were worse than with the last owners. Not surprised that the place is empty.

I, too, was sad that the Stardust closed down. But I was there this morning and there is a big sign on the door saying that they are re-opening on Nov. 18th. Hooray! I truly do think that they are absolutely the best breakfast place in Vancouver. I am so glad that they are coming back. Good quality food, large portions and I have always had very good, friendly service.

The staff is very friendly, and attentive. The food is very good and plentiful. You leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face.And the ambiance is 50's diner, with pictures on the wall of memorable times in the 50's, a jukebox that plays Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin. It's a great place to eat, and walk down memory lane.
