Hours of operation are now 6am until 11pm. Omelette was huge and they allowed me to substitute cottage cheese for hash browns, which was appreciated. Good food, good service and good diner atmosphere.

The blueberry pancakes are do die for and they are plentyful on the blueberries. go there all the time

This diner rates five golden eggs on its atmosphere alone. I was there close to closing time and had an omlete that was okay. The coffee was pretty good for a diner.
Best of all it was a trip into another world that is rarely seen since the take over of the chain restaurants. The waitresses all say "hon", were all over sixty, and barely able to walk at the end of their shift.
The building is a classic with neon lights, the requisite number burned out, stainless steel, and jukeboxes.

If you like risking the health of your colon then have the western food poisoning omelet with some leftover unrefrigerated then grilled home fries.
Top it off with some crusty ketchup from the unclean bottles on the tables that have been there since they opened. On 5-29-05 I did just that and I was sick as a DOG for 2 days. I called the "owner" and he didn't seem to give a rats ass about me getting sick unless he rubbed it on something he was going to serve you to eat.
NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! You will eventually regret it.

I happen to LOVE this traditional diner. It is traditional from its waitresses, building and menu. Great diner ambiance, with decent food. Give this diner your business!!!! Its a dying breed!

Omelets are HUGE, but the fillings are very skimpy. Home fries are plentiful, but taste as if the grease hasn't been changed recently. French toast is excellent.

The Bel Loc has a fabulous breakfast! The raisin bread french toast and the SOS rock! This is a honest and for true diner experience and it is always a treat to go there!
