Driving through we saw this restaurant and stopped in for lunch. My Husband had a colossal burger and I had the special which was stuffed tomatoes. The food was excellent. The burger was juicy and the tomatoes were tasty. Our service was outstanding. It was the waitress' first day and she did great. Will be back again and post on our way back down. Totally give this place a try!!!

So glad Platters Restaurant is back in Lake Placid. And yes, its original owners! They are at the Old Herons Garden location and OH MY GOD is their food GOOD!!! Finally a good place you can eat at in Lake Placid! So happy they are here!!! You have to try their Philly cheese steak omelet and the Greek omelet is to die for! Hadn't had a decent breakfast in 6 years and this place ROCKS!

Have been going to this restaurant since the Greek Owners took over (a young couple). It's been about 2 years now. The best breakfast in town, HOT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, FRIENDLY WAITRESS' & GREAT PRICES. The atmosphere is just perfect and the coffee is the best in town.
