I live here and enjoy eating out many times, so Trail Star gets my vote as a great place to eat. The staff is friendly and food is cooked to order. I've never been disappointed.

Though located in a truck stop, this is a very nice place inside; great quality food; had a very good chicken fried steak here - order done to my directions exactly. Locally owned, clean, pleasant help. Easy to find from any of the three exits off I-94 but easiest is to go South approx 1 mile from the Highway 16 Exit to its intersection with West Towne Street (the I-94 business route). Clean restrooms; well stocked C-store too. As you might guess, ample parking for cars and trucks with trailers (us). Near the Kmart; the cafe is tucked in back of the truck stop.
