I love this place. They have a brunch buffet on Sunday's and it has way too much food (but that's a good thing)!!!!! All of the normal breakfast fixings for a buffet plus eggs benedict and omlettes made right before you with the fresh ingreedients you pick. It also has lunch items, full salad bar, and dessert bar. Cured many a hangover in college!!!

They have the largest omeletes I've ever seen. Most everything is made from scratch with good fresh ingredients. The restaurant has been there for nearly 50 years. Mrs. Wahlstrom is the managers mother. she has been making homemade pies and bakery for as long as I can remember..they are awsome. I like the staff at Wahlstrom's, most of their 45-50 employees have been there for as long as I've been going there, many years. To me this loyalty says much about the owner Steve Wahlstrom, it's also nice to get to know the servers, like Rita, Deb, Lori, Jackie, Sara and Robert who I know best, ...Steve Wahlstrom seems to care about and treat his staff with respect. It shows in the quality of Wahlstrom's food and service. This is a big restaurant and bar with about 300 seats, no small operation. The coffee shop is the oldest part of the restaurant...folksy, bright, clean, social. The breakfast menu is huge....I like Choices and wahlstrom's has plenty. This is my favorite place to eat breakfast in the Marquette (Harvey) area. Oh, and it's Non-Smoking! Love that.
