food was horrible. i had biscuit with gravy and it was nasty! my girlfriend got french toast and its not french toast. it look like regular bread. i dont recommend this place at all. we didnt even finish our meal and left. services was good but food wasnt as good as the services.

Not worth going to in my opinion. Sure it's cute on the outside if you're into the whole alpine kitch, but the food isn't much to write home about. However, the breakfast options in lake tahoe are limited so pack your granola.

took forever to get food, poured coffee right in front of my sixth month old baby. When I mentioned these things in the evaluation card that came with my check, they threw it in the garbage without even looking at it! Right in front of me! customers obviously don't matter at Heidi's.

We just came back to Michigan from South Lake Tahoe, and we sure miss our Heidi's breakfasts! I must say we enjoyed the best breakfasts ever, from my french toast to my husbands pancakes, it was all delicious. Aline was our waitress, and she was beyond great. We may plan another trip just to get another great breakfast!

If you have been to South Lake Tahoe you must have been to Heidi's for breakfast.

My parents brought me there in the 60's, I brought my kids there in the 80's and 90's, and my kids still go there with their friends when skiing at Tahoe.

Quite simply, this is the greatest breakfast around. Food, service and atmosphere are perfect. You're crazy if you don't give it a try. On weekends you're likely to find a waiting line, but rarely is it more than 5-10 minutes. But it's great, and thAT'S why it's so popular.
