This place quickly became my favorite place for breakfast in Seattle. The food is really good: best biscuits I've had in the Pacific NW, awesome corned beef hash. Everything I've had has been great.

Additionally, the tables aren't stacked on top of each other; it's easy enough to get into and out of your chair without knocking over someone else's coffee like you might get at other popular spots.

Expect a wait on the weekends.

Geraldine's is bright, colorful, and sunny, and a total neighborhood spot. They feature different pancakes of the day (e.g., gingerbread, pumpkin, blueberry). The host doesn't know what he's doing, but the chef certainly does. See www.geraldinescounter.com.
