I travel down here several times a year from Chicago. I love this place!!! Always a top choice for breakfast. Friendly staff and awesome food that is only complimented by the proportions of the servings. Totally Awesome everytime.

Best Breakfast around.......
We live in Dayton,Ohio (no, we are not related to the owners) and were down in Nov. for some sunshine. The place was recommended by friends and also the hotel. Located in a strip mall, I was apprehensive at first. But, the service was good and the food was fantastic. I had seafood crepes...... mmmmm.. he had a full, traditional breakfast. It was seriously more food than we could eat. The quality of the food was great. Anyone who does not appreciate the decor and food here, must think that drive-thru sausage biscuits are the height of fine dining.
I intend to go back every chance I get.

If anyone uses a fork to cut their food then they need to read Miss. Manners. That is what knives are for. The portions are incredible and after 11 years of being a dedicated customer I have to say It is "ONE OF THE 100 BEST MEALS I HAVE HAD AND I HAVE BEEN AROUND THE WORLD 3 TIMES". Anyone who feels that the ambiance and the experience of a family owned and operated business that can find ONE BAD WORD to say about it seriously needs to get humbled as you sit WAY TO HIGH ON THE CROSS. The staff and owners KILL themselves to serve you.....................Go to any other restaurant and try and cut potatoes with a fork (besides baked) ........."LOW RENT TRASH" Go back to Detroit or some other slum where you belong because this is FLORIDA. Here we are proper and use knives to cut our food. LOL and Good eats to you. Ted, Russ, and the Late Princess Luce Belle. I also will say Hi to Chris and Jane Muhrlin. Much love forever. Ted

Great breakfast and awsome lunchs. Most portions are large enought to share. Share cost of $2.00 is good value. Coffee refills are constant. "GREAT"

We were invited by a friend to a brunch on Aug.15,2010. I ordered two eggs with sausage. The plate that I got was unappealing as the fries were refried several times and the sausage was almost black because, I guess it was the last piece for that day. The restaurant was on closing time and they gave us whatever was leftover. I have been sick with diarria for the past three days and have pains in my intestines.
I would not recommed this place to anyone.

A dear friend took me there years ago and I've returned with my family and recommended it to friends. Many of them go there at LEAST once while on vacation every year. It is so delicious and a fun place to go. I like to use my Frog Pond mug for morning cofee and pretend I am there.

I would like to recognize the waitress that waited on us during our trip to Treasure Island. Not only did she do a wonderful job waiting on us, she remembered us from two days before at their sister resturant. I would recommend either of these two resturants to anyone looking for a good breakfast with reasonable prices and waitresses that will make your trip enjoyable. Larry/Kansas

If you are looking for a nice quiet place to eat breakfast, this is not the place to go. I went at 10:00 on a Saturday morning and it was a madhouse. We were seated at a tiny table and the waiter never came back to our table to check on us. The homefries & the sausage patties tasted old, and the "sausage gravy" was straight out of a can. I saw two other tables sending their food back. All we ate were the eggs and the orange slice garnish.

Forget breakfast! If you love soup and have been dragged down here to Florida from N. Michigan by your wife.... try the hamburger soup. It is really to die for!

Great breakfast. Had strawberries on waffle with whipped cream. My cariologist would not like me to have this, but he wasn't there.
Great food, bottomless cup of coffee (refilled constantly), and very good service. Have met new friends there and look forward to eating there when we visit in February.

The Frog Pond is hands down the breakfast place to be. We've been visiting the Frog Pond for many many years. The food is fabulous. The portions are more than generous.
It's been fun to watch their business grow from one third the size it is today. I saw that a new Frog Pond is opening on St. Pete Beach. Great.
The resaturant is always crowded, but it's worth the wait. We always go about midmorning. Then we're good until dinner. We even have left overs.

All I can say is WOW about how much food they brought out. Our waitress was very, very honest with us about how much food we were ordering. Even still, we ordered enough food for a small country. The food itself was very good. The hash browns, I have dreams about them. Very very good. I'd recomend it.

This place fills up quickly with locals and people from all around the area. Food is phenomenal and comes in ENORMOUS portions! Great value for your money. Very little parking (in front, around the side and in back), but there seems to be good turnaround here. Highly recommend and will be back often.
Best Dish: Georgia Waffle - pecans in the batter and georgia peaches on top, yummm!
