I've tried Kelly's twice. I love diners and really wanted to like Kelly's. Both times I went were equally bad. Weak coffee, crumbs on the table, but worst was the pancakes. Burnt on both sides. Second time I went with my father-in-law visitng from NY. We both ordered the pancakes to be served extra light and they still came 'blackened'!! He's in his 70's and said it was the worst breakfast he ever had! I wish it was better but it's not.

Me again, let's start shall we. This diner is down the street from me and I can honestly say it's pretty good, they could get some more booths and get rid of the stand alone table and chairs, but otherwise good. I have only had breakfast here because the CLOSE EARLY, yes my biggest complaint is they close around 3pm which sucks because sometimes I just want a diner burger or diner turkey dinner, but alas I fair I will never see said feast, ...anyway, this is another one of those places where people don't get of there asses and leave after they have eaten. HEY PEOPLE, wake up and smell the freakin' coffee, people are waiting in line, stop being rude and get the hell out when your done. So many things to say, so little time.

Kelly's Diner is the place to go for grill-toasted bagels and perfect scrambled eggs. Everything is delicious from the potato and egg sandwiches to their giant fluffy pancakes. The service is excellent and if you are able to go on a weekday after the breakfast rush (noting they're only open until 3:30), there's little to no wait.

Efficient waitstaff and sassy service, add up to the best neighborhood spot. Just remember you definately end up with your money's worth and where else is the wait worth it.
