this is not the bluebird cafe which is located by Touro. This restaurant will not be opening until April, so we shall see! to be continued......

I beleive this restaurant is misnamed. It is not the Blue Plate, but the Blue Bird. This was my favorite place for breakfast when I lived in NOLA. The omelettes are awesome, the pancakes rock, the coffee is great, and it never stops flowing. The music is usually good as well. Be sure to try the daily special.

I am new to New Orleans. I've only lived here a few months and I found this place on a SUnday morning. The biscuits were incredible, everything was perfect and in very large portion. Perfect cure for a Saturday night of drinking.

Only problem I had were that the grits were lacking enough butter.

The staff is amazing and friendly. Take Prytania and head towards downtown. Look on your right and it is there.
