This restaurant is HUGE! I couldn't believe how many people they were able to fit. We didn't wait at all for a table on a Saturday morning. The food was good. I got the biscuits and gravy with eggs. The gravy was a touch on the salty side...but what do you expect when it is made from the drippings of pig fat? You should definitely check out this place.

We were so excited to visit for a nice breakfast, but my husband was so uncomfortable when seated in the booth, we ended up leaving. The tables couldn't be adjusted to accomodate him, being large in stature. Being shown to another table did not help, as it was the same. We were told that the only other two tables that would move for added room were occupied and were seated again at the first booth. We got up and left, never to return.

Soooo good! We were visiting from Dallas and absolutely loved it. Not fancy, just great food and a fun atmosphere. Loved all the old pictures from Pikes Peak, etc. on the walls.

Whenever I think of Colorado Springs, I think of the Omlette Parlor. Imagine this: a mound of fried potatoes somthered with green chili stew (pork and fresh green chilis simmered with black pepper and cumin) and cheddar cheese and topped with scrambled eggs. What could be better on a cool clear morning on the Front Range of the Rockies? The restaurant is in a converted home that has been painted bright yellow with green trim. There is plenty of free parking, but the place gets very crowded sometimes. Expect to wait for a table, and expect the staff the be overworked. Eventually you will be rewarded with steaming, beautiful, inventive breakfast fare. Be sure to order a carafe of the fresh squeezed orange juice. It is the real deal! Although the prices seem a little high, you should easily get two meals worth of food from each entree. Sharing is highly recommended.
