I've been going to the Worth Restaurant (Snack Shop) for over 20 years. Special # 1 is 3 eggs (any way you want them cooked), hash brown potatoes, and 2 pieces of toast (greek, white, rye, raisin, wheat) for the ridiculous price of $2.89 Special # 2 is 2 eggs (any style) 2 pancakes, and 2 bacon OR 2 sausages for $3.69
There are many kinds of omelettes, wraps, french toast, pancakes (including chocolate chip), and many varieties of skillets.
Coffee is $1.25 and you can have all you want, milk and various juices are available as well.
Laura and Linda are the owners and Jennifer, Kim, and Julie (and several others are the main waitresses).
The address is 6948 W. 111th St. Worth, IL and the phone # is (708) 448-4471. Open 7 days a week from 6AM-3PM Carry out is available and there is a nice lunch menu as well. GIVE IT AT TRY AND YOU'LL BE COMING BACK FOR YEARS TO COME!!

Not fancy, but delicious food at reasonable prices! Friendly, fast service, too. Laura's 'lasagna soup' is fantastic, and Linda's meatloaf is worth coming back for. We, being regulars, don't go far for vacations, as we want to get back here for lunch: ) This thought is shared by many.

This has got to be my favorite place! If you are looking for a classy place this is not it, but if you are looking for real homemade food & cheap cheap prices this is it! The breakfast specials are listed on a chalk board & change daily & every one of them are great (I've had them all!) Ask them to do your hash browns well done with garlic & onions & you will taste heaven! If you are lucky enough to go close enough to lunch time try the soup, the chicken & dumpling is to die for, I will usually take home a couple of containers of it. The lunches are great also. This place is family owned & operated, the original owner sold it to his waitresses when he retired & they have kept it a booming business. They make all the food so you are getting real homecooked. It gets very crowded & everyone knows everyone in the place. The coffee refill is a little slow so you might as well get up and get it yourself, and while your at it refill a few other peoples cups on your way, no one minds!! You can easily walk out of there spending only $5 & be happy & stuffed.
