I love, love, love the Saddle Ranch. Most people know it as a meatball pick-up joint at night, but their breakfast is the ultimate. Portions are HUGE. Most everything is served on metal cowboy platters. I've mostly done their omelets and other egg dishes and I've always been happy. The staff is amazing. If you haven't been to the Saddle Ranch for breakfast... go! Now! What are you waiting for?

The Saddle Ranch has quite a reputation... It's most well known for it's raucous, trucker-hatted hipsters and scantilly clad 20-somethings riding the landmark's mechanical bronco in the middle of the bar floor (as seen on 'Sex in the City'). But surprisingly, this Sunset Strip 'meat-market' has one of the best brunches in town. Even if the food sucked--which it certainly doesn't--you could twist my arm into going every weekend for their ALL YOU CAN DRINK Brunch Special. (The mimosas and bloody marys run from 8am-3pm!!) The breakfast portions are almost comically oversized, and virtually nothing on the menu costs over $7 or $8 dollars! I had the tequila chicken omlette which was quite good. Four eggs ridiculously stuffed with chicken breast, cheese and avocado...I think I could barely eat half of it. The servers are friendly, flirty, and eager to get you anything you need. Pigeons occasionally fly in from the outdoor patio, but they appear to be equally friendly, and only beg by your table for a few seconds until they're off to coo at someone else.
