Eating at Topaz is like dropping in to visit friends who always are glad to see you. Michael and Barbara keep the down-home atmosphere warm and welcoming. We especially enjoy the lovely omelets, of course with potato slices. Our favorite restaurant. -- Gail G.

Not fancy, and not a place to eat if you're in a hurry. We found a booth immediately and were served quickly, but the food preparation was slow. The good news: it was worth the wait. Unusual (but not ridiculous) items on the menu. Had the Topaz Scramble (or similar name) and it was very flavorful--somebody fine-tuned the recipes. You won't see this place from the road, but it's at 4010 US Hwy 1 South, in a strip mall near Moultrie Creek.

Breakfast from open to close!! Eggs Benedict is awesome. Exquisite creations. Recommend the Nutty Irishman (made to order corned beef hash and eggs) and Back to the Garden (two eggs topped with veggie hash and Hollandaise). This is a breakfast lover's restaurant!!
