Great food at The Little Rooster! No doubt about it. And the pancakes are fantastic! HOWEVER, I have a few complaints - First, there are alot of "rules" - cash only, split dish charge, no this, no that, etc. Second (and my only real complaint), when I was leaving, I noticed one of the waitresses pouring leftover maple syrup from the tables back into the maple syrup jug. EWWWWWW!!! That alone might keep me from going back.

Absolutely the best breakfast place around. The chef owner, Anya, really knows how to prepare eggs - interesting and unique omelets prepared to perfection as well as delicious pancakes, waffles, french toast and other breakfast items. I have tried all the breakfast places in the area and The Rooster Cafe is hands down the best!!!

Four of us visited this restaurant For the first time this morning. The breakfast we had was really good. The service was great and the servers were professional and couldn't be more accommodating. I had the corned beef hash and it was real tasty from the quality of the coned beef to the beautifully prepared poached eggs on top. The restaurant was clean, brightly lit, comfortable and well kept. Coffee was tasty and bottomless refills were offered more than once. Our server asked on numerous occasions if we were enjoying the breakfast. We truly did. Go for it!

The corned beef hash was excellent, with perfectly cooked eggs on top. My husband had the pancakes and claims their the best he's had. The atmosphere was great, staff was efficient and cheerful. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated.

The reviewer who mentioned the corned beef sliced in the hash might not realize that it is indeed house made. The owner corns his own beef. I find it a nice change from the heavier industrial-style hash that one often experiences in other restaurants. Other dishes are creative and for the most part, well-executed.

Highly touted hash was a disappointment. Serving consisted of what I estimated to be 75% sauteed onions. Corned beef was sliced thin and cut in strips from a round that obviously wasn't cooked on site; there wasn't much of it. Potatoes were far and few between. It didn't look like hash and it didn't taste like hash and @ $7.95 was way overpriced. Wife had the herbal omelette and said it was very good. Service was good. Atmosphere and decor was bright and cheerful; also very clean.

The perfect breakfast/lunch place. I wanted to take it home as my own.

Cozy country atmosphere, very tasty food! Mentioned in Bon Appetit magazine. Expect to wait for a table on weekends, but it's worth it!
