Service is almost nonexistent. I think the problem is the setup of the "restaurant." Its an old house, so the waitress is bustling between four different rooms so, if you need something, chances are (about 75%) she's in some other room and you are not in her eyesight.

The foods nothing to get excited about either. All three of us were notably underwhelmed with what we ordered (although they do kindy accomodate egg-white-only orders).

Avoid.

Sweet atmosphere; great outdoor patio for good weather days, cozy fireplace for chilly wet days. I've eaten there maybe a dozen times and always had really good service, good food, really good coffee drinks....and they have free wireless service! Overall, my favorite breakfast place in Berkeley.

Food was bland and nasty. Only time my wife went, a cockroach crawled across her table. Service was rude and slow. If that's what we -can- see, I shudder to think what we can't. Pretentious faux french. Stay away!
