Chips are hard. Service is very poor, wait staff tend to chat with familiar customers and ignore the rest. And the food; for a mexican place their cooks do not know how to cook good mexican food., tacos are runny, food is cold, nachos on old, hard chips, meat dishes are meager.

Chips are hard, probably recycled from previous diners. If you think this is good mexican food then you have never had good homemade mexican food at home from cooks who know, so you cannot compare! Want good mexican food? Avoid this place!

/we arrived (my husband and I) early to reserve a large table. We sat for almost 5 minutes, no one came by to ask if we wanted coffee or just to say someone would be with us "in a minute". I asked another waitress with a pot of coffee on her way to another table for coffee and she said "in a minute" she walked back into the kitchen, never to return. AS tha rest of our party came in, I had to call for service. I complained and the hostess was indifferent. When I complained about the missing chorizo in my chorizo & bean taco, the waitress argued with me and insisted that it did have "chorizo" in it. My brother-in-law told her to just bring another one. She never returned. Friendly? This is the worst wait staff and the worst food,we know, because we make homemade tortillas and fresh "everything". I will never recommend it!!
The competition doesn't have anything to worry about. They don't care about customer service!

Food was average, just like the staff. Would eat there if someone asked me to meet them there, but otherwise I drive past this place all the time and don't even consider it an option. I eat out at least 9X a week and even go accross town to eat at some of my favorite restaurants.

I like Martha's. The food is very good, the staff friendly and the restaurant appears clean. Breakfast is my favorite meal and Martha's is one of my favorite restaurants for breakfast.

I've been dining at Martha's for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Yes, the staff is friendly and yes, they do get engrossed in conversation. And that is just one of the reasons I keep going back. Regardless of who my server is, I know I will always enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere. Is it possible the person that gave Martha's a bad rating is just a little self involved and not open to the welcoming feeling of a true mexican restaurant?

Martha's is family friendly. A little too friendly... the staff gets so engrossed in conversations with regulars they forget to make an impression on the new customers. The plates are sparse at best. You definitely don't get your money's worth. The food tasted okay. I could've cooked up something better at home. Okay to eat there if your in a pinch. Nothing special.
