My personal choice for best breakfast in Kailua! Mac-coconut pancakes are my favorite pancakes on the island. The stack of three is enough for two to share. Huge list of omelettes... Veggie ones are especially good. Stay away from the "Mexican" specialties - like everywhere else on Oahu that tries to do Mexican, these are pretty blah. Service can be hit or miss, but the food always brings me back. Go early and snag a place on the patio.

I have gone to Brent's about 10-15 times the food is really good however I have decided not to go back due to the service. There is a short haired blonde lady that looks like she is in her late 40's, who has waited on us numerous times, and is absolutely the WORST waitress I have ever had anywhere! She is rude, impersonable, and just plain bad. Almost every time she waits on us she doesn't refill our drinks unless asked (when we can get her over to the table), SLAMS down our food on the table and just walks away. Will bring the check when your not done, which means she doesn't want to get you anymore drinks. The last time I went in to Brent's I requested any other waitress other than the short blonde haired lady, and the waitress we had was very good, however we witnessed the short haired blonde lady treating all her customers like we experienced and decided it's not worth going back to, there fore we will no longer be going to Brent's until this lady is GONE!!

Graet out of the way place for Breakfast when you want to see Oahu without the glitz and glamour. Go to the windward side of the island have breakfast here, the macadamia nut pancakes are huge and topped with coconut surup.
Once your finished check out the two awesome beaches Kailu and Lanikai with the picturesque Mokulua Islands about a mile offshore.
Great place to start a relaxing day on Oahu.
