My wife suggested that there should be a coffee refill rating of "too much." Really, the service was spectacular. Prices were somewhere between cheap and reasonable. And there was just something very appealing about the ambiance; though, yes, it is greasy spoon, just very comfortable greasy spoon.

If you are looking for an alternative to the long waits in Los Gatos or the very mediocre food at other breakfast places, this could be the place for you.

BTW, I really look forward to going back there sometime around midnight; there must be a very interesting crowd.

I love the omelettes, they are made with a buttery tasting oil thats a little greasy but tastes great. The weekday breakfast special is a great value. You choose from a list of items for a custom breakfast. Great for low carb eaters just choose eggs and meats instead of the toast/hashbrowns/pancakes. I've hit this place for late night bites also with it being open 24 hours.

I've eaten at Mini Gourmet for over 20 years, and it is an excellent breakfast. Pancakes are hot, big and fluffy. Eggs are nicely done, sausage tasty. My nephew loved the big, sweet french toast and the servers are fantastic with kids. They refill the hot chocolate for you.

A very clean greasy spoon. Great food and great pancakes (and I don't even *like* pancakes). Offers a lot of selection with regards to the menu, good side-order options, quick service. We had to ask for coffee refills and servers were not always available (really busy there) but still a fanatastic place. Lots of families. Parking is limited, but we found a space and it seemed everyone else did too. No waiting or 2-3 minutes waiting to get a table.
