We arrived to a full parking lot- a good sign. Cox's lives up to its slogan "Good country cookin'and the price is right." They serve breakfast all day and that includes the dinner hour. No credit cards.
A rambling wood panelled restaurant with booths, tables and a counter. Great omelets and hotcakes. Grits, hash browns AND home fries. Breakfast meats include ham, bacon,sausage,smoked sausage, corned beef hash, pork tenderloin, rib eye steak and a LARGE steak. They also serve chipped beef on toast and, in season, fish roe and eggs.
A wonderful and inexpensive family restaurant.
