I think that South 401 is one of the better restaurant's to eat at in Owosso, there food is delicious and the prices aren't really all that bad..South 401 is a restaurant that I would go to everyday if I didn't care what I eat!..The staff is awesome,friendly,funny!

 I had the Irish Omelet (corned beef and swiss cheese) for $5.35. It was a good-sized omelet. The flavor was very rich, while somehow still coming across as a bit bland. You could imagine that the addition of green pepper or onion might offset the richness and give the omelet a little spark.
Being part of a large group, I had the opportunity to get opinions on many of the other dishes. Here are some quotes:
"My (blueberry) pancakes were delicious."
"The 'Light & Fluffy Panckes' were a little heavy and too thick."
"Thumbs-up for the Veggie Omelet."
"I'm gonna tell them you're Mr Breakfast."
"No. Please don't."
"Why not?"
"I don't want them to do anything differently than they normally would."
"What'd he say? I couldn't hear him."
 I'd go back to the 401. There's many menu options to try. The Pecan Pancakes sounded interesting and a Jumbo Cinnamon Roll a few tables over looked very appetizing.
The 401 wasn't my favorite restaurant in Owosso, but quality service and a friendly atmosphere edges this restaurant into the better-than-average category.
