I think that the Cabrillo Cafe is way under rated. The food is very good, the portions are well sized, and the coffee is very good. The waitress never let any of our coffee's or waters see the bottom of the glass. I ordered the chicken fried steak with the fruit and the fruit cup comes out with a heaping spoon full of yogurt on the top and it was soooo yummy. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and not greasy. The gravy on the chicken fried steak had good flavor and was homemade. This is in the fight for the top 5 breakfast restaurants in the bay area!

Just had to put in another review since I was just there a few weeks ago with some friends from the LA area and from Milpitas. We and they just loved it. The sausage patties are to die for and my wife love the omelet. The rest of the folks loved the food also. I'm trying to get them to become a AAA Show Your Card & Save Partner. I'll keep trying.

Tri Tip, hash browns, toast and eggs special this morning. Most cops I've seen in a place. Phalanx of CHP followed by another!
People were nice, then I got served enough tri tip for breakfast, lunch, then probably dinner for two.

Thanks to this web page I hit this place on a road trip between Concord and Aptos. Glad I did!

Also had good salsa. Latino flair to American breakfast. Thumbs up.

You can beat the price, service and the people. There is a small wait on your meal and coffee is VERY good and they keep it coming until you say WHOA. Me and my wife love the place.

The best hot salsa every! I had the chicken scramble, it was very good. Great choices, not just your typical bacon and eggs. Potato pancakes...how cool is that

While the food is VERY good, the staff cannot be touched for friendly and great service. More than just "breakfast", it is a great place to start the morning. The specialty omlets are large and very good.

This place is excellent. You get alot of food for resonable prices. I enjoy the lingucia omlette the best.
