This is my favorite brunch spot in Ann Arbor. On Main Street, its closer than Angelo's. The food is fresh and delicious - vegetarian stew is my personal favorite, a scrumptious and breakfasty hash-like concoction. But the gorgeous waffles always tempt me as well. Service is friendly and laid-back. The atmosphere is clean and bright, so who cares if the decor is a little campy?

My wife received one cooked and one partially cooked egg with her meal. My wife ate the cooked egg and politely pointed out the partially cooked one to our waitress when she finally returned to our table. The waitress immediately became defensive and bolted off to the manager to find out what to do before we could say anything. Upon returning she finally asked what we wanted, and was relieved when we asked for another cooked egg, rather than a free meal. Upon leaving, the manager at the register didn't bother to acknowledge us or say thank you, even though we remained polite and gave a decent tip. Bottom line: rude staff and very poor customer service. Even a genuine "sorry" would have prevented a negative review. We live in Ann Arbor but we won't be back.

I haven't been anywhere else with this many selections. Everything was fresh and delicious.
We recommend it to all our friends. Great decorations all year long.

We had such a great selection of breakfast items I do not remember offered anywhere else. We had a difficult time selecting our meals....We are definately going back to try the breakfast stews.

This place used to be my favorite, but it's since lost its luster. The food simply isn't as good anymore and the atmosphere has mellowed too much for my taste.

Not a bad place a for a meal, but there's much more attractive places downtown. Try afternoon delight, or if you can make the drive, Northside Grill or Angelos.

Yummy food, cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. When I take my 5yo son they always talk right to him and get his order from him instead of overlooking him and talking to me. He loves that, and having a happy 5yo at a restaurant is always a very good thing. This is his favorite restaurant now, and I rather enjoy it myself.
