This place was pretty good years ago, but it's really gone downhill. The food was bland and lukewarm. What happened to the quality?

Found a hair in my meal! This was handled very poorly by the staff. There are much better places to eat nearby...go to one of those instead!!

Excellent experience. Food is delicious and staff are friendly. Chef frequently mingles with the customers. I recommend Mosaic to everyone I meet.

Checked Mosaic out after the review on the site and have to say it's as good as the reviews say. The potato hash patties are great! I went on a Sunday around noon expecting a wait, but was able to get a seat right away. Highly recommended

Excellent and interesting service staff; clean booths, tables, chairs, and floors!; captivating menu that makes choosing a bit difficult. The food is very very very good and improving all the time. Our family has eaten at Mosaic for more than a year now, and we find the experience better with each visit. We're more lunch patrons than we are part of the breakfast crowd, but have eaten the waffles which are light, tasty, and have personality. Management is available, friendly, and truly interested in feedback from diners; the food photography generates thought and conversation. Mosaic is a refreshing oasis in the middle of the fast-food desert of Rockville Pike.

Pleased Patron: "Almost like sitting in a small café' in Paris. Great service and awesome waffles, smoked fish platter, fresh everything from juices to pastries. If you want to have a memorable breakfast or brunch, bring a newspaper and wait to be spooled!"

Friendly service, attentive to children, different breakfast, rather European, delicious waffles some stuffed with smoked salmon, food pesented well.With lunch and dinner available we particularly liked the tuna salad plate. We have been back 3 times and plan to take a large party of 12 in this weekend. We got carry out there as well.

I just had a waffle in this cozy place. Awsome, I never had such a delicious waffle.
Furthermore,they stuff them with scrambled eggs or smoked salmon.
This is my new place. The staff is quite friendly.

Their breakfast menu is heavy on waffles -- which are delicious. The waitstaff is very friendly, and the food comes out quickly. I've also had the omelettes which are yummy as well.
