My family & I are frequent diners here! For breakfast, try the HUGE pecan waffle, or the Greek omelet (which is also great for lunch or dinner - tastes just like a gyro without the carbs!).

Great senior portions for dinner, and will add/substitute just about anything on the menu & usually for no charge.

Staff is friendly, and most have been there a long time (will have that pot of coffee waiting for you!).

Totally awesome dining experience, The location here in Madison Heights is great! I had a 2 egg special with meat and hashbrowns. My wife had the same but subsituted the hash browns for pancakes! We both had the best coffee and had top off refils all during our breakfast. The thumbs up award for best restrauant in Madison Heights should go to Seros.

This is a restrauant I go to often. It has recently changed its food quality. The consistancy is a major issue for the Madison Heights location. I do go to other sero's in the area and since this is in my home town, this is where I spend most of my money. I also dine here for lunch and dinner.
Back to breakfast. The special used to be 2 eggs meat choice of one and hashbrowns with toast. It is now replaced with the larger special I was told by the new blonde waitress which has 3 eggs 3 meats and hashbrowns and toast. I ask her about the old special, and she says o yea we have that one too. Hmmm I think... I notice that the special prices that were on the tables have dissapeared...how long before they are gone for good? At $2.59 you get a decent breakfast. They also serve a B+G for $2.25 it comes to you cold sometimes! It is also something that tastes different each week, getting worse and worse. This is in fact a greek restrauant, why would you even expect B+G to taste good here! One time we found a green bonus in the gravie a green bean!
I have asked for my hashbrowns and sausage links to be well done every week, like for-ever! and I guess the cooks miss-interpet this to mean less well done as the sausage is served sometimes browned and pink in the middle and the hashbrowns should be call hashwhite-potatoes.
I will now tell you about the eggs, scrambled is a good choice if you like scrambled. over medium means this ..... they are flipped and slid on the plate. I wonder what over easy is???? hahahha I one asked for my eggs to be over medium well. that was no help either came served to me runny as all. I plan to order my eggs well done in the future in hopes of getting that perfect egg I make at home of just perfect!!!! A couple years ago I just asked to have 1 more egg WELL DONE to do with the runny they serve.
I have tried poached too. They do make a decent poached egg.
Thats about it. come here to Madison Heights and check out this restrauant for yourself

I'm not writing any letters home about this one. Part of a chain of six restaurants in south-east Michigan. Same ole, same ole. Breakfast was slow, but decent, no flairs. Nothing fancy. Waitress seemed bored. Coffee refill was good as they put a small thermos pot on your table. Two problems here in my way of thinking. Waitress never comes back as she doesn't have to refill you, and if you don't drink all the coffee in the thermos it goes back into the main pot to be resold, an excellent possibility for cross contamination. Seros is yet another source for lemon rice soup and the "famous" Greek salad. I fail to see what is "famous" about lettuce with cold beets, onion, tomato and Feta cheese. Again, this is only my humble opinion and I could be very wrong.
