We've eaten here twice now...thinking I got them on a bad day.....but yikes......not to be...took my 8 out of town guests for early bite....and again...bad food...bad service..all being said....never again....and it's sad...cause it doesn't take much to make a good pancake...now does it?

also fixing the grapping hole in the roof...would be nice!

I am betting this restuarnat has been here for over a hundred years. Fifty years ago I knew it as the Family Restaurant. Old fashioned to say the least, wood paneled walls, stamped tin ceiling at least twelve feet up. Same oak tables and chairs I remember from way back then. Food is very good and well prepared. I had the oatmeal pancakes. They also offered pecan French toast. Peron at the next table had a Cobb Salad that looked gorgeous. Two young high school age waitresses. While I was there the cash register locked up and neither had the slightest idea of what to do. I told the one to look under the register for the drawer release. She found it and opened the drawer. When it came my time to pay, the drawer had been accidentally closed. My waitress told me they could not make change because of it. She had, in twenty minutes, actually forgotten how to open it. Super nice young lady, but this is not brain surgery. She laughed about having forgotten. Or was it a way to get bigger tips? Pepis products. Good coffee. Well prepared and thought out plates. Yes, I'd go back!!
