I was really looking forward to having breakfast here and drove 50+ miles to get there. The breakfast was less than OK. The chicken fried steak was tastless and chewy. The gravy was OK and the eggs were done as ordered. The "world famous" cinnamon roll was OLD and DRY and EXPENSIVE. I will not darken their door again. Service was good and friendly, but did not make up for the food and cost.

Any trip I take to California always includes Heaven on Earth. Over tweny years of once or twice a year I make it.

I am personally responsible for reccommending this place to easily over 80 people who include it on their trips. The atmosphere is what makes it a truly awesome experience as well as the menu.

Last year at our convention, I drove a van of blind individuals to this wonderful restaurant for lunch. They treated everyone and the guidedogs like family. The food was excellent and we can't wait to return this year.

We need a Portland Heaven On Earth 2, please come soon! This year I am bringing back cinnamon rolls for my co-workers to spread the word.

Possibly the weirdest place i have ever stepped foot in. As five travelers on short money we were excited to see the table full of samples. We then had an average meal. The weird part was when the christian owner came and gave us free deserts and told us to relax...even rest in the bunk beds upstairs. This was an unusual offer from a food establishment and i thought maybe it was too cult like for me judging by what seemed to be many drone like workers in an otherwise empty place. We did take our time and upon leaving were forced to take about five containers of cake and pastries all for free. This was appreciated days down the line and that wierd little spot sure gave us some conversation. Overall you cant beat free food. Thanks christian lady

As an over the road driver, I always look forward to the German sausage and eggs breakfast. The service is always great. I especially enjoy when Christine comes and sits down and chats. I understand that she is a former Playboy Playmate. Can anone tell me what year and which issue.

I enjoy the totally Christian atmosphere. When you walk in, it's like walking into a ski lodge. Very cozy, fire hearth blazing, and soft, inviting music playing. The food is homemade and scrumptious. We make a point to stop everytime we are through the I-5 corridor, even if that means waiting a few hours after we're hungry, just so we can get there to eat. The wait staff is always very polite and quick to fill your cup. The owner and Manager hold special appreciation events for our hardworking truckers, and set up biker runs to raise money for charities. I highly recommend this place to anyone who happens through exit 86 on I-5. And while you're there, step across the street to grab a latte to go. MMMMHHH!!!

Walk into this place on a cold day and you will fall in love again. You enter where they keep the baked goods and that should be enough. They will be cooking on several stoves and ovens in this area. The cinnamon roll is the size of a cake. They have actual varity not cloned store lists of baked goods. We have ordered out several times for friends and we have on occastion had more items than we requested. The price for baked goods is a little on the high side but you get the best. The staff is friendly and fast. They play the same CD over again the whole time you are there. You can deal with the music just don't fixate and take it for what it is, simple background music. We find this a delightful stop.

After a long drive, we stopped at this restaurant as recommended by a friend. We ordered the chicken fried steak, at $10.95 each, a very high price, and coffee, at $2.00 each!!! Average price is usually arounf $8.00. This was the WORST we have ever eaten! The waitress admits it was frozen and already came breaded from wherever they order it from. The sausage gravy was BROWN from being overcooked/ re heated. The meal was not finished, most of it was left behind. When we told the waitress and hostess of our dis satisfaction....all they did was shrug their shoulders. No offer of a different choice, price reduction, etc.... Later on down the road, we ended up getting ill ( I will leave out the graphic details). I felt this place is HIGHLY over rated and HIGHLY Over priced. I would definately AVOID this restaurant in the future!

There are many places where I have had a meal, but Heaven On Earth has always stuck in my mind as one of the best. Good food, great deserts and a very frendly atmosphere. I highly recomend this resturant and once you've tried it you'll want to come back too. They make a rainy day bright and sunny. Thanks Christine, your the best.

As a trucker, heaven on earth was often the highlight of my trip when i traveled the 5 coridor. I'm planing a 30 day fast to comence easter 2006. When fasted and prayed to the Lord's content, i plan to enjoy a meal at this heavenly roadside stop.
Join me in fast and prayer. Fast one or 2 meals a day if that's the best you can do. Let's then see God's glory around the 20th of may at quiens creek.

I can't BELIEVE that anyone would ever eat at this place twice! It has the weirdest atmosphere of any restaurant we've ever known. Between the gospel guitar music, the weak coffee and the cold, unfriendly waitress, there just isn't any reason to go through the front door. I see that it has some history and it looked cool from the outside, but why didn't we trust our intital vibe when we first opend the door? If you want mediocre food, fake hospitality, high prices and a huge helping of religion this is your kind of place!

We thought the atmosphere was interesting, the food was pretty ordinary, but it was the service and the apple butter that was extraordinary. They served us complimentary juice of the day and put an assortment of jams with crackers on the table to sample their gift shop items. They have the best apple butter I have ever tasted. They had an incredible assortment of bakery goods which we didn't try because we were full from breakfast, but would definitely try this place again.

I was disappointed that the newer owners have completely erased the history of this restaurant. It was a stop on the old stage route and was once a brothel & saloon. It is now full of christian books & tapes and no mention is made of the history. John

I've never found another place like this. Best jam ever. Really caters to truckers!!! I used to drive by about once every six months. Same great people, same great taste, same great atmosphere every time.

This place rocks. Where else can you get a single cinnamon roll that will feed 4 to 6 people, made fresh every day! This place is a breakfast lover's dream. Tip: Take the unfinished cinnamon roll home, and unroll it so it's flat. Cut it up into pieces the next day and make the best french toast you've ever had!
