My family went in for breakfast, awesome!!! Great waffles, and the best pancakes ever. Hummingbird cake (home-made) very good, one slice big enough for 2 to 3 people. Will be back.

WIFE HAD SPECIAL: HAM, FRIES And SALAD - HAM WAS
DRIED OUT, FRIED TO MUCH OR
SOMETHING LIKE THAT......
I HAD: BROWN BEANS, CORN BREAD & BAKED POTATO
BROWN BEANS, WITH SALT AND PEPPER ADDED,
WERE NOT BAD, BUT IT WENT DOWN HILL FROM
THERE: CORN BREAD WAS SO DRIED OUT,
COULDN'T CUT IT WITH A KNIFE AND HAD A TIME
BREAKING IT APART, WITH FINGERS - BAKED
POTATO WAS SMALL, WHICH I COULD HANDLE, BUT
WAS ALSO DRIED OUT........ ON EVERY
OCCASION, WE HAVE BEEN TO KATIE'S, WHICH

Ashland is my hometown and Katie's Corner always makes us feel at home when we go back. They have healthy choices in addition to the great country breakfast. My mom and her sister Janet talk of a great breakfast cafe in Ashland that used to be up the stairs in the old YMCA building across from the B&O railroad station -- they were open all night and a hot spot for train travelers, late night revelers, and early to rise fishing pals. The place still inspires great fondness for all who recall it, and my guess is that Katie's is it's little sister, the next best breakfast to the one that's long gone.

Katie's Corner is our favorite restaraunt ever. Their food is the greatest, and their service is the funniest.

Katie's Corner has the best breakfast in Ashland that I've found. They have a 'Pigs in a blanket' dish that is 3 huge buttermilk pancakes wrapped around sausage links, it's absolutely amazing. You can never finish your plate there!!
