Iv been here about four times every year for the past 5 years and it still has its same great charms, and always a nice nice waitress

What joke.... Sell the place to someone that understand customer service, how to cook, and how to manage a restaurant. dont waste your money in this place.

Our biscuits and gravy were the worst we have ever had. I'm from the South and my partner from the North. The service really sucked as well. The food was terrible. We will never go to this place again.

I have been a regular visitor to this restaurant for many years (10+). The food has gotten progressively worse! I always have bought a greek salad, as they were great. As of recent however, the lettuce is always brown, and wilted. What kind of establishment can sell someone a rotten salad? This is absolutely unforgiveable. A rotten salad!!! Disgusting!!! This is not the first time either. This is 5+ times. Get with it folks!!!

I love going to Jimi's. We are always made to feel welcome when we go in, and the food is always good and comes in large portions. The cooks are awesome, especially Mr. L.D., who can out-cook anyone! Rob is a sweetheart, too. Perfect place to meet for lunch or for a family dinner out.

the food was great..and i adore the pallis family..but they need to check out their employees. i had a young waitress who was rude..and obviously did not want to be there. i dont think ill be going back because the service was that bad..if ur waitresses name is natalie...i think u should run out the door..cuz she can ruine ur day

I have eaten at Jimi's many times over the last few years and the food was always delicious and hot with extremely generous portions and all at a great price. The service is a bit slow and unattentive. But then again, I am there for the food, which I give a 10.

The waitresswe had was rude and she had dirty fingernails, looked like she was a bar all night and had an attitude. The food was typical coney island type food, frozen and thawed out. I would rather go and eat at Denny's. My fiance attends oakland community college and wanted to stop in and try this place out, never again!!!!!

After his sudden death, the restaurant is now run by Jimi Pallis' two sons, Sam and Frank and his wife Mary. The restaurant provides very good food and the family does not seem to understand portion control. You get a plate filled with an excellent meal, be it a Coney Island, a full lunch or dinner, a gigantic and gorgeous salad or a burger or sandwiche. Sam has taken the time to take the Health Department's voluntary courses, ergo the place is sparkling. A banquet room has been added and is available for large or small groups from funeral lunches, club meetings to full wedding receptions. For a snack or a great meal, try this place. My favorite is a seafood bisque they occasisonally serve on Fridays. The restaurant has a smoking section with a "smoke eater" installed overhead and they do take credit cards. On Sunday mornings you might have to wait a few minutes for a table as it seems this is the place to meet and eat after services.
