How can you go wrong with the Crack?

With over 500 restaurants, they're obviously doing something right. The biscuits are awesome, with gravy, apple butter, jelly, honey... anything really. I recently tried their pancakes - they were good, too. Their food is consistent, and the service is always fast and friendly. A staple of road trips, Cracker Barrel will always have a warm and buttery place in my heart!

There are at least five crackre barrels in the Nashville area and hundreds across the South. Whichever one you choose, the food is always great, the service is always prompt and friendly. One of their breakfast plates (I think it is the "Old Timer") consists of country fried steak, cream gravy, three eggs, bacon, sausage, or ham, hash brown casserole, and biscuits with butter and jam. 10,000 calories of delicious! Be sure to pick up some old-style candy or kitschy fun from the gift shop.
