"The Emporer's New Restaurant" I agree with the user about it not really being a brunch. Dried out breakfast foods with over rated coffee does not a brunch make. It IS however a trendy spot, and people who go there have to justify it to themselves. Anyone who says this is a good brunch has obviously never been to The Grapevine of Ashley's. They have real brunches.

Union's brunch is the best in the area. There are lots of items to choose from, including made to order omelettes, YUMMY! The service is fun and great and unlike some of the other listed remarks, I'm thrilled that they have Starbucks...finally a good coffee in Short North. There are unlimited refills on coffee now...it's changed since the inception of Starbucks. I eat at their bruch quite often and lately, the look and feel of their brunch is getting much classier. You can tell that they care about feedback from their clientelle because they change as they grow instead of becoming stagnant.

Buffet is amazing. Made to order omelettes are phenomenal for the price. 1 Free Starbucks refill is an added bonus.

Used to be okay, but not really a brunch. There are no brunch foods, just soggy eggs and chewy breakfast meats. They really jumped the shark when they started having only Starbucks coffee. Who ever heard of an all-you-can-eat brunch not having unlimited free refills on coffee? Now it's very over priced. Not really a good brunch mentality.
