STILL AS GOOD IN 2010. JUST GOT BACK FROM A WEEK IN KEY WEST AND WITH ALL THE RESTAURANTS OFFERING BREAKFAST, HARRY'S IS THE BEST FOR GREAT FOOD AND FUN PEOPLE. STARTED OUR MORNING FOUR TIMES WITH THEM THIS TIME. (BUT DON'T FORGET BLUE HEAVEN AND CROISSANT DE FRANCE!)

I had business in Key West, back in May '07. From the Navy Base, I was recommended to eat at Harpoon Harry's. I loved it, and returned for a total of 3 out 5 days in town.

I just returned for a Nov '07 vacation in Key West, and went back for 2 more breakfasts. It is the most relaxing, friendly, easy going, good food place on the island. And low prices to boot. Their T-Shirts are great too.

I had breakfast at Harpoon Harry's on Christmas Eve morning. Key West was the first stop on a family cruise I was taking. I rented a two-seater electic car with my sister (aka Sister Breakfast) and headed out in search of the best breakfast on the island.

And I found it!

I had the Spicy Western Omelette and she had the Crunchy French Toast. The service was excellent. Our waitress was extremely friendly and timely. The red peppers in my Omelette gave it the perfect amount of spark. I tried the French Toast and was also impressed.

Make sure you try their potatoes and make a point to ask about strange collection of Barbie Dolls you'll see as you enter.

Thumbs up to Harpoon Harry's -- a contender for the best breakfast I've had all year.
