Their "giant home-baked cinnamon roll" was gas-station quickie-mart quality. No taste, no substance, no character. And this is a town with some good bakeries! Coffee was acceptable but hard to get their attention for a refill.

The only place in Astoria where I actually got a decent breakfast, the place is very clean, albeit the glass, dishes...etc are a bit dated and worn out.

I can highly recommend the Eggs Benedict and the omelett, the portions are HUGE, but full of taste.

I've been there twice and twice I had to send my food back. Once it was undercooked and the second time there was a bug in it. We asked about other local activities in the area and all they did was badmouth the other local businesses. Very unprofessional.

We had a great experience at Stephanie's Cabin in Astoria. Very friendly, efficient service and a wide assortment of menu items to choose from. Window seats looking out on the Sound. The food was very well prepared, came in huge portions, and tasted great.

I washed dishes there for a couple of months. Heres a little something that should make you think, Stephanie's Cabin has a reasonable ant problem. The ants can be found all the way up until the cooking line. Washing hands is only "encouraged." After working there the food is gross and the staff behind the scenes is worse.

I gave this a one golden egg rating only because there is not a place to click on "no golden egg."

My partner and I made the unfortunate mistake of getting breakfast there while staying in Astoria. When I walked in I thought it was not very clean. My partner was very hungry, so I did not make a deal out of it and stayed.

The food tasted like cheap fake plastic! EVERYTHING we had was fake. I don't think there were real eggs, real pancakes, hell I don't even know if the coffee was real. This was the most horrible place I have EVER ate breakfast at.

When we were walking about that day, about two hours after eating there, we both felt sick to our guts and felt as though we were going to vomit. I think we would have felt better if we did! When we drove back from our little vacation, friends asked us how our trip was. We both replied that it was great but.."Don't EVER go to Stephanie's restaurant!"

I am still grossed out when I even think about it!

One reviewer had this one mixed up with the previous owner. Dutch Cup was good; next one was super-awful. Then Stephanie's Cabin came in and it is so awesome. Price is 'tween average & pricey, but when we're on vacation, we don't mind spending a little extra when it's good.

every time ive been there i have always been satisfied with service and food quality...and food portions have always been generous..now the coffe is a little to strong, tasts like they use exspresso coffe and that is a bummer but every thing else is good so far

Horrible!! I've never heard a good thing about this restaurant. I made the big mistake of eating here once. Terrible food and the cleanliness of the place was sub-par. The restuarant that used to be in the same building, (The Dutch Cup), was great, but not this place.
