Note From Mr Breakfast:

I'd put out the word that I didn't know what Tony's Cachare was and you great breakfast lovers responded like crazy.

The answer: Tony Cachere's is a spicy salt mix seasoning - totally tasty but a bit salty! You can see it here.

Thanks breakfast lovers!

This is an intersting take on the dish often know as "Birdies In A Nest" or "A Hole In One".

I've always known this as 'eggs in purgatory'. Directions here are a little spotty. We use 1 clove of garlic (minced) and 2 tablespoons of basil (finely chopped). We also add grated Parmesan on top. It's very tasty.
