Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie

(2 servings)    Printable Version
  • 1 8-ounce container of fat-free vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
Combine all ingredients together in a blender. Pulse until smooth and the blueberries are pulverized to small specks.


Pomegranate juice was ranked the number one juice in a University of California study of drinks with the highest amount of antioxidants. Blueberry juice was number four on the list.

You taste the blueberry more than the pomegranate and you don't really notice the wheat germ (I was afraid it might make the smoothie gritty). So... yeah... I liked it quite a bit.
