I don't know about you, but when I get a hankering for a basic, all-American hearty breakfast, I've been coming here over the years. Friendly, attracts a wide range of Providence and local Smith Hill folks, artsy and music people, families with kids, couples, and the paper-readers lining the counter. The proprietor loves to talk and mingle and share his honest-to-goodness hospitality. The menu has just the right amount of variety from the regular special to nice omelets and pancakes. Pleasant but not fancy, I come away feeling satisfied. Don't be surprised if he's open past time to accommodate hungry walk-in's! Look for the 'Open' banner flying outside.
