If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault! This restaurant is part of the Inn at Lincoln/Beacon Resort, but is open to the public for breakfast and dinner. On a recent visit, my companion and I had dinner here and were so impressed we decided to return in the morning. The dining room offers crisp linen tablecloths and fresh flowers with sparkling glassware and silver. We were greeted by a most congenial host and seated promptly.

Choices abound for breakfast. If you just want something light, you can enjoy the juice bar offering an assortment of bagels and breakfast pastries, freshly baked muffins and cold cereals for only $4.95! There is a special children's menu offering not only the usual chocolate chip pancakes and french toast, but also hot oatmeal, cold cereals and fresh fruit cup. Heartier appetites can choose from omelets, pancakes, french toast (deliciously thick with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla) or any of the many "signature items" on the menu.

Beware! These are huge breakfasts. My companion ordered the "Country Boy Breakfast" - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage (as big as knockwurst!), hame, toast, blueberry muffin (so fresh!) and homefries. He's a big guy, but even he had to save the muffin for later.

I enjoyed the breakfast combo of eggs, bacon (6 slices cooked to perfection - but I could have chosen ham or sausage), french toast and home fries. I turned down the option of additional toast. I also had juice which tasted freshly squeezed.

Our total bill was about $23 including meals tax - more than you'd pay in a diner, but definitely worth it. Since this is a 'tourist area', the prices are probably comparable to other restaurants in the area.

If you stay at either of the resorts, you can purchase a meal plan that offers breakfast and dinner for each day of your stay. It's well worth it.
