This local favorite is in Rands Plaza which runs along Hooper Ave in the Silverton section. We were surprised at the crowd here. We had been to the spot on two other occasions under different ownership and it was never this busy. The place is larger inside than you would expect. They are open 7 days a week 7AM-3PM. They have daily Breakfast specials at $7.95 which are hard to resist. Comes with coffee, juice, toast and home fries. I had the Texas Omelet with corned beef hash, cheddar cheese and onions. Very Good. My spouse had a typical New Jersey special. Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese on a Hard Roll. Also very good. Portions are large. Service is good. Coffee is Plentiful. Staff are friendly. BTW, they had a Lox and Onion Omelet which was intriguing. Total bill with tip was $20.00 for two. Definitely worth a visit.
