One of a seemingly endless number of pancake places in Williamsburg, the Gazebo is next to the Holiday Inn on Bypass. We were seated swiftly and received the immediate attention of a friendly waitress. A pot of coffee and two glasses of ice water were delivered promptly. The coffee was strong and hot--an excellent brew. The ice water was served in small juice glasses, requiring numerous refills which came on a regular basis. I had bacon pancakes and my wife had blueberry pancakes. The pancakes were very good--thick and doughy, a little chewy. The bacon was a disappointment--the paper-thin strips that have almost no flavor. My wife had no complaints about her blueberry pancakes. She said they were rich with large, flavorful blueberries. We like to read while we eat breakfast, and the waitress left us undisturbed except to refill beverages and remove finished plates. A good basic breakfast place.
