With it's classic neon sign depicting pigs, cows, and chickens merrily marching toward their unsuspecting fate, Gus's is first and foremost a BBQ ribs joint. Day or night, that tell-tale smell permeates the air. However, that doesn't stop them from being a good breakfast locale in the morning! Average prices for the usual breakfast fare (eggs, omelettes, pancakes), but the result is generous and tasty portions. Older attentive waitstaff, frequent coffee refills, and red vinyl booth seating give this place a 1950s Mainstreet USA feel, and the cocktail lounge in the back makes it seem like you just stepped in from Las Vegas Blvd of yore. Parking is available around back, or on Fair Oaks Ave out front.
