Thank you so much. My Mother made syrups like this when I was a child. Brings back lots of good memories.

Thanks for the recipe! I decided to make pancakes only to find out that we ran out of syrup. Needless to say, my dad wasn't happy. I live in New England and there's a blizzard out there so I couldn't run to the store, so I found this recipe and it tastes just like syrup! Thank you again!

My mom used to make this but I had forgotten how, ran out of syrup today, found your recipe fantastic, the only extra thing I did, just for the heck of it,was add a little bit of vanilla. Thanks:-D

I grew up on homemade syrup but never made with brown syrup and butter! My hubby and I don't use a lot of syrup so will make this one as needed! It's yummy!

My mom used to make this for us all the time. My husband and I are having pancakes for dinner tonight and since I ran out of maple syrup plus living 8 miles from the nearest store I made this. Thanks!

I like it better than maple syrup. We've made it three times now - twice for pancakes and once for French toast. The last time I increased to butter to 2 Tablespoons and it was even better. Thanks guys!

You have no clue how much a bottle of syrup costs in Germany... it's ridiculous! Around 5 Euros! That's why I will make my own syrup in the future! Thank you for the recipe. My hubby and the kids will love it! A big hello from Heidelberg, Germany ;-)
