Strawberry Butter

(25 servings) Printable Version

1 cup fresh hulled strawberries
2 cups sweet butter - softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
dash of pure vanilla

In a blender combine all of the ingredients. Mix together well scrape down the sides if needed.

Store in the refrigerator in a covered container. This may also be frozen for later use.

* For a slightly different variation with a fresh, citrus kick, try adding a teaspoon of freshly grated orange peel to the mix.

Something a little different for all those pancakes, waffles and biscuits you are making.

We make something like this but we use fresh finely chopped berries, regular butter, a spoonful of strawberry jam and a drop of vanilla. It's great on toast!
